Inadequate leadership and lack of emotional intelligence contribute to societal challenges, including workplace inefficiencies, social unrest, and lack of innovation.
Shortly after graduating from Duke University, I was homeless and looking for a job, sleeping on my friends couch. I did great in school, I was a decent athlete, but I was unprepared for life after sports.
A 2023 NCAA study found that only 2% of student-athletes go pro. This isn't anything new.
What is alarming are the studies about the remaining 98% who often lack the resources, challenge or support to translate their athletic skills into leadership and career success.
I experienced it first hand and I work with former student-athletes every day who are going through something similar.
So, Here's What We're Doing:
Partnering with athletic programs to create leaderships, clarity, and transition workshops.
Offering one-on-one coaching to help athletes discover their post-sport identity.
Local workshops to teach life skills, resilience, and flow-based principles.
By teaching former student athletes resilience through flow-based learning, we can unlock human potential and create more opportunities for success.
Here's Where We're Going
Using success stories to inspire trust and engagement, we focus on translating athletic discipline into transferable leadership skills.
Create a mentorship network to support and challenges athletes long-term.
Developing an online leadership community specifically designed for student-athletes in transition.
Partnering with international sports organizations to embed leadership training into their programs.
Schedule a conversation here if you want to explore how we can work together to redefine what it means to help student-athletes win the game of life after sports.
Partner with local mental health organizations to offer resilience training workshops.
Create free or low-cost workshops for schools and community centers to teach flow-based mental health tools.
Empower developing leaders to operate from a massively transformative purpose with flow, emotional intelligence and accountability.
Develop an app or digital platform with flow and resilience exercises for mental health.
Collaborate with global mental health organizations to scale these tools.
Through fostering accountability and strengthening community connections, this work builds resilient, collaborative networks capable of driving systemic change. It inspires individuals to take ownership of their roles in society, creating empowered communities that address local and global challenges collectively.
By integrating neuroscience, flow states, and emotional resilience into mental health solutions, this work addresses the global epidemic of stress. misalignment and burnout. It equips individuals with the tools to better navigate life's challenges, fostering well-being and productivity that ripple outward to benefit families, workplaces, and communities worldwide.
